Environmental Education and Special Events

CCDC Foundation supports and promotes environmental education, research and local special events in order to increase public awareness of the relationship between the environment and the quality of life for all residents of Champaign County.

A few examples of CCDC Foundation’s commitment to education include:

• Financial support for many Park District and Forest Preserve District programs and facilities
• Recognition and awards for leaders in conservation and environmental efforts at the Annual CCDC Foundation Meeting
• Promotion of prominent guest speakers featured at the Annual CCDC Foundation Meeting and other area-wide special events
